Notes & Combos

I would have liked to have been able to play a Snake-Eye build this season or maybe VS/K9, but KT is too oppressive to decks with important ED cards and a lot of 1 of engine requirements. So instead i just played KT.

There's nothing particularly unique about my list compared to most. I have a few other builds where i replaced a lot of the handtraps with cards that enable more turn 0 plays like Hop Ear and Bystials, but those builds feel more gimmicky than competent.

I think the PSY-Frame package is worth running over other handtraps, stopping the other decks in the format isn't hard. But when stopping KT, you really need every card to negate. And if your opponent opens something like Cue + Rotary, there's probably not much you can do anyway.

Rosewhip being banned is irrelevant, it's just a "win more" card. Overtake getting limited is also next to pointless, because Genesis searches either it or KTS.

Another piece of advice i have is you almost never want to go for a turn 0 play with Clip. It's not worth going -1 just to get an RS on field which will probably be outed soon after being summoned. Also Crackle doesn't come up often, don't waste your time banishing cards from your opponent unless their playing something with an extremely important limited ED monster (for example, Kitkallos).

I played KT with Elfnote for a little while which was fun, but the pure build of either KT or Elfnote is better than the hybrid.

This deck is probably the best deck since Ishizu Tearlaments. It does everything, it has an answer to everything and unlike other tier 1 decks of the past, you only have 2 options: build your deck specifically to beat KT, and still likely have a poor matchup against it, or just play KT. It's the closest thing to tier 0 that we've had in a long time (personally i do think it's tier 0, but the current MDM tier list disagrees).

I really hope Konami addresses this deck soon, and harshly. At the very least Rotary needs to get banned along with Track Maker, and possibly JJ. As well as limits to the level 3 monsters.

The deck isn't really fun to play, and it's even worse to play against. Any effects that look at the opponent's hand and/or top deck, or ED rips simply shouldn't exist (and this deck has all 3 for some reason).

I didn't have any replays worth saving, but it won't be hard to find KT games on youtube to teach you how to play the deck.

Sorry for all the complaining, i just really can't stand this deck being tier 0 in all 3 formats.
