Notes & Combos

It’s obvious you’ve probably noticed: this decklist is the same one used by Omnireborn last season. Big thanks to him for the list and his guides, as well as to JadenBR. It’s my first time playing HERO, and I’m really happy to have reached Master V early in the season.

The composition of this decklist offers a good balance between consistency and hand traps, even though you can still brick sometimes (yes, I’m looking at you, Dolphin 🙂). I really wish Miracle Ejector could also send cards from the hand—it would have been absolutely perfect.

I love the deck’s potential when going second, especially its ability to break boards, mainly through summoning Trinity and Thunder Giant. The latter hits really hard against Kewl Tune’s end board, I’ve honestly lost count of how many times it won me the game against that deck. With the new support cards, this deck, already known for its OTK potential, now has even more gas.

Maxx “C” and Droll are major problems for this deck, so you always have to keep them in mind when searching, to make sure you still have at least one viable play. On that note, Anaconda helps a lot—in fact, I’d even say the card is essential for the deck to function in this meta.

On the other hand, Fuwa is quite manageable with the right hand. Most of the time, I prioritize searching Fountain, as it helps preserve your normal summon and deal with opposing hand traps.

Overall, I’m really glad I tried this deck at least once and managed to go this far with it. Definitely one of my favorite decks, I can’t wait for the next support.
