Notes & Combos

Finally hitted Master V with this deck after year and a half of leaving the game, so basacally I was starting from zero learning the game again. This decks is very fun, very strong, but it is hard to pilot if you have no idea like me, so I had to put an actual effort to learn the deck and matchups, and accomodate the list to my playstyle. Nonetheless, it is so rewarding to pull off plays with vsk9.

After saying all this I want to give a little explanation in the cards I picked for Main and Exta decks, because one discussion I read a lot is about ratios, although I feel most cards in the deck are self explanatory:

Main deck: Droll: after Diamond 5 I encouter many mirrors and radiant typhoon, so this card many easier those matchups if they didn't insta conced.

Kurika: I needed an extra fire monster, tried rescue ace package but it bricked a lot for me, another option is dogoran but did not want to craft it. Kurikara came clutch in some duels going second for removal.

2 Mulcharmies: I originaly had 3 fuwalos and 1 purulia, they are very good going second, especially purulia in the current format, but decided to cut 2 in favour of droll. Did not want to mess up the ratio as I was seeing good hands overall, having any other attributes other than fire, dark and earth hurts the deck consistency a lot.

3 Cases: I tested running 1 and 2 copies but found the most success with 3. This card is so broken because you can use it as a starter, extention or searching a missing attribute for you plays, and even follow up for next turn. 3 copies gives you a lot of consistency, especially if you are new with the deck like me.

Extra Deck:CS Rocks: this card can enable a Zeus before you start your plays, so very good for going second plays. Vallon didn't see much play so that will be a card I will consider to change in the furute.

The climb was challenging, especially in lower diamond, after diamon 2 it was a breeze, felt like many opponnent insta scooped when they see you have full combo. Feel free to ask any questions, although I am not an expert with the deck, or give me any advice to improve, i'd really appreciate. Final thanks to the vs discord channel, those guys taght me a lot about this wonderful deck cheers!
