Notes & Combos

12-0 to D2 and then reached M5 in 16 more games.

The most resilient deck to handtraps I have ever played.

Before the climb experimented with a ton of different builds, Armored Xyz, Tri-Brigades, etc. but simplifying the endboard and jamming handtraps made the most sense.

The Radiant Typhoon and Millennium cards work well because they require you to play zero hard bricks and add the Spell/Trap negation your endboard desperately needs. The Millennium cards are also your whole gameplan going second. Besides making Totem Bird, Radiant Typhoon searching MST to destroy continuous/field spells often counted for an extra negate.

Discussion for other Zoodiac duelists

I definitely feel like there could be other engines/tech I'm still missing. I tried really hard to make Mouser or Broadbull search Fraktall work, but playing main deck Tri-Brigade monsters felt bricky and the Mouser payoff wasn't enough for the extra deck space (it is so tight).

Maybe the play is more Radiant Typhoon cards? But then you are more susceptible to handtraps. That was also why I didn't go the Ryzeal or Mitsurugi routes (also no ED space again).

You can also play Divine Golden Dragon to search Seventh Tachyon and bridge from Millennium back to your Zoodiacs, it's the only bridge the deck doesn't have.

I did find a pretty cool FTK version of the deck with a Gimmick Puppet line, but you don't have the extra deck space for any backup plans or going second tools.

This deck only exists on MD so would love to hear what other people think, the climb was so easy will definitely make revised M1 version.

Off of Ratpier your endboard is both Utopics, Harbinger, I:P, and through handtraps you just drop one of the Utopics for Drident. Your hardest matchups are decks that play only board breakers, but still beat multiple Sky Striker players on the climb.
