Notes & Combos
Another year another time to hit Master 5 yippee! Starting from Plat 5, I used Punk Psychic & Elfnote until Diamond 5, when I remembered Fenrir got unlimited and I wanted to try Punk Kash again. And I gotta say, with Rising Scale, compared to 2023, Punk Kash is a lot better, where before you couldn't set up a Baronne turn 1 unless you had extra Punk names to use with into Carp, but now you can easily make a Baronne and continue your Punk combo.
Over the course of facing top tier decks, there were some techs I didn't use much (if not at all), like making Fortune Tune into Zeus, Big Eye (or frankly any R7), as well as Chengying, but I'd say they are good "safety nets" in case the game state calls for making such plays.
Overall, climbing with this deck was fun. You can definitely feel the powercreep with the current meta decks being more interactive, explosive, and/or more of a pain, but being able to make a Baronne on the 3rd summon and utilize the Kashtira cards was definitely helpful.
