Notes & Combos

Got to Master V again with Red-Eyes although I do not recommend the deck but wanted to share it since there is always a lack of Red - Eyes decks. The 2 additions I made that improved my win rate and made climbing a lot easier were D.D Crow and Dimension Fissue as it Works with Vete since only banishes monsters.

Plan: Going First: The deck has two main win conditions going first, stop your opponent from playing or burn them as they try to play. Ideal board will be some combination if Hieratic Seals, Red-Eyes Full Metal and Flare Metal or metal flameswordsman or even both also hopefully have drill beam.

The other ideal card is Dimension Fissure since a lot of the meta is currently grave recycling we are using Dimension Fissure to make it need to be removed first and try to protect it with Drillbeam, fullmetal and Hieratic Seals. Hieratic Seals cannot be targeted with call by grave so it is a lot stronger than usual. be mindful DF must be played later in the turn otherwise will stop your own BMD or Ether Beryl.

Going second: The deck is a lot less powerful going Second but apart from the standard tools D.D crow can be used to banish a card from your opponents graveyard so learning some key targets is important for certain match ups, your opponent doesn't need to have monsters and you can hit spell and traps. Hopefully then you can find a way to get Dragoon or Fullmetal on field otherwise it's probably a loss.

Lastly the deck will brick, we can improve the consistency but it comes at the expense of the decks potential to win turn 2 and might as well be full stun.

-Dragoon Package: Can be removed but is the best tool the deck has going Second to still get a win or just finishing the opponent in general. Does work with Dimension Fission since it only banishes monsters. -Metalmorph: Key to the deck and functions still with Dimension Fissure in play quite well. Metal Illusionist gives an easy searchable level 1 who can go into spirit, anima or striker which can then be banished for a bystial. -Bystial: Just has good synergy tempted to remove Lubellion and Regained but you don't always draw DF and very important to maintain board presence if you don't. -Primite: Sometimes just using Lode to get Roar can be better than Ether Beryl the more you play it the better you understand what tools are better for what match ups.
