Notes & Combos
Reached Master V with this build in a relatively short climb and a strong win rate.
-Fydraulis
The MVP of many games. This card requires careful timing and rewards matchup knowledge. A lot of players underestimate how effectively it can disrupt combo lines. Against decks like K9/Tune variants, forcing awkward chain interactions can completely derail their turn. Remember that monsters summoned after Harmonia resolves cannot immediately use Quick Effects if they weren't properly established beforehand.
-Bystial Magnamhut If there isn't a priority target, use Magnamhut during the End Phase to search Genroku. Genroku then summons Paidra, which searches Kaimen, effectively thinning the deck and improving follow-up.
Tenpai Engine 3 Paidra/1Chundra/2Genroku/1 Dora Dora/1 Fadra The biggest thing to remember is Genroku's Dragon restriction. It comes up more often than people realize and can prevent access to cards like Samurai Destroyer if you're not planning your line ahead of time.
Board Breakers
Ultimate Slayer An all-star throughout the climb. It answers a wide variety of Extra Deck threats while simultaneously loading useful targets into the GY.
Forbidden Droplet Possibly the best-performing board breaker in the list. It breaks established boards while helping force Tenpai plays through interaction.
HeavyStorm, HFT , Talents, Thrust Flexible power cards that help crack difficult boards and capitalize on disruption. Traps Impermanence/Impulse Strong going first and going second
Odd-Eyes The most underrated card in the Extra Deck. I have won countless games by going into Meteorburst when I already had access to Kaimen or Fadra. It functions like a mini-Sangenpai. Players especially tend not to expect it, and it frequently steals games.
Samurai Destroyer A niche option, but one that has secured several clutch wins.
Kuibelt It provides unique utility, especially when Bident gets Packbit'd or when playing under Dimension Shifter-like restrictions and looking for alternative OTK routes.
Baronne Easily summoned through Fydraulis plus a Dragon body and remains one of the strongest generic Synchros available.
Hiita You can often crash her intentionally and add Genroku, creating an unexpected OTK line from seemingly empty resources.
The biggest advice I can give- think ahead with your restrictions.
No Shifter cause you can't use Slayer/Droplet/Fydraulis!!
