🦋Introduction:
꒰(˶• ᴗ •˶)꒱Hiya, fellow duelists! I had a pretty orderly climb to Master V once again (one rank-up a day) with Striker (recorded on June 6, but I got rather lazy uploading here)! Same deck list as usual, so I don't really have much to tell besides some matchups I faced...
🦋Overview/Matchups:
- Branded: Surprisingly not a lot of Branded, personally! It is an incredibly grindy matchup that resulted in timer losses for both my opponent and I! Again, looping Shark Cannon and Lemnisgate are the general direction you want to go when addressing their board. Going first, it is a matter if they can outgas and grind your disruptions.
- Kewl Tune: With the updated Forbidden list, Kewl Tune has lower consistency and pushes through interruption. They no longer reliably have access to Rotary's second normal summon, and their substitutes often play into a Droll and Lock Bird. Because of these factors, Striker, already being one of the premier counters, has an even stronger chance of defeating them.
- Zoodiac Radiant Typhoon: This deck is ANNOYING! Their turn one is very layered and strong with several ways to negate your cards, along with drawing multiple cards due to Vision and Saryuja. It's difficult if you cannot use Droll, or if your hand simply cannot push through. Because Radiant Typhoon naturally breaks backrow, even our going first matchup is varied.
- Magnet Warrior: A very high-octane combo deck that establishes some of the strongest endboards. Not fun to face going second, that's for certain.

꒰(˶• ᴗ •˶)꒱: Overall, a very interesting climb! Every time I am at risk of a derank game, I immediately get a 4-5 winstreak, so that's funny! Sincerest gratitude to Floowooly and the Dungeon!
