Notes & Combos
First time ever reaching Master rank. Almost exclusively played this from gold all the way to Master. Used this abomination of a deck. Tried a few engines, apart from magistus (no dust for them and too much of a combo deck for my taste). Nekroz raised the ceiling of the deck but increased the bricky hands. Shining Sarch also wasnt bad but ultimately decided on a dracotail engine + small bystial engine. This lowered the ceiling of the deck quite a bit compared to magistus but increased the floor too. I was thinking of trying a smalll Branded engine but I already had too many competitors for the normal summon as is and Whalbaz special summon will lock me out of Fairy tail fusions.
1 Phryxial was in the deck because of the Lukias limit. The main idea for the deck came mainly because of Faimena and the ability to use her as a poly on enemy turn, but decided to increase the engine so I have a bit more plays. Teller is a surprisingly good turn 0 summon. The extra deck could defintely be improved. I practically never summoned Chaos angel once I removed the shining sarch package and alchemic magician was only summoned once ever since I gave up on nekroz as well (but was really good with the nekroz package to set super poly.
I added a 2nd equip because Dracotail players often banished my single copy. Branded was the easiest matchup from the meta decks due to the renaming effects of the field spell and fusion. I got stuck in diamond 2 for quite some time because I was either vs rogue decks or simply bricked really hard. Matchgiru could be a 2 of but this deck really wants to see at least 1 Fairy tail in starting hand. 1 Mululu and 1 pan also were good additions that I experminted with.
For non-engine, the bystials were late addition but werent bad at all. Veiler and droll are nice fusion fodder too. I tried to remove Ash multiple times but always returned them. Very briefly tried to use the fairy tail that equips and a 1 of united we stand but this was also swiftly removed as well, because everytime I would search a card it would never be her, matchigiru and Luna are just too good. I very briefly tried 1 Silent magician but just like the nekroz, altough it raised the level of the deck, it was also a dead card the few times I drew it.
Overall I am really happy with the deck. Its fun but locks somethimes **** you up so its gotta be played more carefully. Eventually when the endymion new cards arrive I might update it.
Replays
I have replays with all but the shining sarch engine as I dropped it pretty fast. Last replay the opponent surrendered fast but it shows the Nekroz package in action.
