Notes & Combos

To be very honest, I wanted to rank with just a P.U.N.K deck with a Psy-Frame engine however, I later added Bsytials to counter Light/Dark (mainly against Tear) and remove a lot more Psy-Frame cards than I hope for. In general, this deck is weaker compared to a pure P.U.N.K Byatial or Therion, however, it does have its unique benefit.

While playing first this deck can have a decent setup similar to any PUNK deck in which your goal is to land with “Sharakusai” + “Any lvl 8 (usually JAM Dragon Drive)” so that you can bounce 4 next turn with “Amazing Dragon”, along with both the Field Spell and the PUNK trap card for a negate. What's unique is that depending on your ending hand, you can potentially add extra negates with Psy-Frame cards if you are able to summon “Lamba” after the initial setup. Usually, it is possible by using “Madame Spider” + Bystial, however, sometimes it's best to save the Bystial if you want an extra disrupt if you think you are facing Tearlament.

Going second go even harder at times too, depending on the hand. With the addition of “Hop Ear Squadron” you can also utilize Lvl 8 Synchro like “Draco” or “Omega” to further disrupt your opponent if you get a negate with a Psy-Frame card. You can even get a “Barrone” or “Chengying” using “Accel Synchro” if needed. Even if you don't get a Psy-Frame disrupt you can still use “Hop Ear” + Bystial to do the same thing.

Notes&Tips

Both “Psy-Frame Overload” and “Branded Regained” on the field are dope as you can banish stuff and Draw 1 . Also if you can discard “Overload using “Foxy Tune” eff you can get a free Psy-Frame next turn. Sometimes if you have a lvl 3 tuner + Bystial you can make a “Crocodragon” for an extra draw and a possible extra pop as well. If you have a Psy-Frame in hand always try to bait your opponent to activate a card before you play a monster Tbh the only card that isn't clutch is “Shenshen” as you barely need to summon him and rarely help when out.
