Notes & Combos

I absolutely love this deck. Sky Striker gives Argostars the well needed going second strength. In return Argostars provides an endboard that really lets you control. While the negate by the field spell being slow as it is is obviously not a good thing, it means you have to play one step ahead of your opponent. Knowing the way your opponents deck works is crucial and effects that special summon a monster are a good giveaway that you might want to use one of your trap-monster effects. A good example would be Fiendsmith. If they bridge into it via Moon they will most likely summon Lacrima via Requiem. If we chain one of our trap monsters to Reqiuem they get to activate Lacrimas effect with us activating the field spell as chain link 2 targeting Lacrima. The Deck really forces you to plan your plays and I absolutely love it :D

Both Archetypes can bridge into the other. Going into Camelia after setting up your board when starting with Adra allows you to still get to Zero with a Lemnis Gate that should usually be able to shuffle 6 cards back. And while probably controversial, if you start with engage or hornet drones you can use Zero to summon both Raye and Roze to go into Adventurous Arion, searching Giant slaying. This way you can start your Adra combo with a 2 mat Arion already on board, allowing you to use Tydeu and Capane to go into Silhouhatte for either Eteo or (more probably) Statue of Anguish Pattern, while being able to still get Tydeu and Capane during your opponents standby phase. The limit to hornet drones really hurt the deck, but that I simply balanced it out by putting in some Linkages. It sucks that they look you but often times you still draw into both engines anyway so it doesnt matter.

Raye and Roze are probably the biggest bricks in the deck, lol. They are a worse normal summon than adra and can stop you from bridging into Argostars if you can't get them out of your hand.

My climb had so many going second duels that I had to wrestle victories from it's amazing. I had an 11-Duel Coin Toss Loss streak at some point... still ranked up tho xD
