Notes & Combos
Playstyle K9 Crystron is a midrange deck. It builds points of interaction but without a clear boss or lines of Extra Deck extenders.
It is more than the sum of its parts: Jokul engines out the Crystron 5s without locking you. Both engines can bridge to the other via Ripper or River Stormer.
This deck has an extremely satisfying flow: If you open Noroi, you get to scout their hand, and then build your board to answer their hand. (also you win 100% of the time going first into sky striker)
Going Second Board breaking can be tough, 1 negation fortress was helpful going second for sniping an edge column. Imperm can be better at the start of turn 2 to break. 1 Dark Ruler came up often in my going second games. Necessary evil IMO in best of 1 format.
Belle at 3 - I am not decided if this is better than 2. It pinches meta decks really well rn.
What you can change This is by no means the best or only version of this deck. I ran spell canceller, who also requires Imperial Princess and Starleader in ED, which could be replaced to make you more flexible. Running both Release/Werewolf and Canceller lowers the ceiling, but raises the floor. This is preference, you can lean to only one of the packages. Ripper/M will be much better than Werewolf once its out.
IMO Vimano is overhyped - just avoid machine locking yourself ;)
