Notes & Combos

Synchrons with Superexpensive Samurai.

The Superheavy Samurai (SHS) engine allows a 1 card protected chain blocked speeder combo, or a 1.5 card protected unaffected speeder combo. The engine is really expensive but for a good reason.

The monster summoned with Crimson Dragon here is Majestic Star Dragon, which allows a field wiping omni-negate, and can be revived and used again in the same turn after negating with Assault Synchron in the GY. King Calamity is usuable here but it isn't needed since Framelord and Trishula allow you to banish 3 cards from your opponent's hand, and if done right, you can set up 3+ negates after doing so. If you would still like to play calamity, you will need to add either a Generic Level 12 Synchro Monster such as Masurawo, or Synchro World. The only replaceable monster in the extra deck besides Majestic Star is Herald.

The Diabellstar engine is used as a Jet Synchron Searcher, and the Adventurer engine is used for summoning Junk Speeder if the SHS engine is stopped or not accessible.

If you would like to run more handtraps, the only ones I suggest are Ghost Ogre, Ghost Belle, and Ghost Mourner, do not play infinite impermeance, since spell/trap cards in the GY will prevent you from activating most of the SHS cards.

Bagooska is super helpful by the way, since it's a great play if you get Maxx C'd.

Tips:

  • Revive Framelord with Dis Pater to banish with it again.
  • Summon Trishula with Crimson, then use Trishula as material to summon Crimson again.
  • To summon a level 9 Dragon like Trishula or Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss with Crimson, you need to make one of the Stardust Dragons level 9 with Stardust Illumination
  • Summon Majestic Star/King Calamity During your opponent's turn.
  • Use Assault Synchron to revive Accel Synchro Stardust in your own turn, then during your opponents standby phase, return Assault to the GY with Framelord so you can use Majestic Star's negate twice.
