Notes & Combos

Pretty straight forward. This variant of Stun is to completely lockdown the opponent by closing the doors on any out they have and beating them in the grind game.

Dyna and the barriers lock the opponent out of the biggest mechanic in current yugioh which is the special summon. Ideally, since this is the year of the fire we want to make the focus on utilizing the barriers as a way to out this format in particular. Using Torrent and Drought are key as this format is all fire, and most of the secondary power cards in this format are not that so in case you cannot open with Dyna you can still lock the opponent down. Unfortunately, Wind is still forbidden as I would prefer that over Heavens but just be careful of Branded as that is the deck that can play around heavens.

Jowgen is a great tech as it has the same stun effect while also having a sack option to nuke the board in case if you draw him in the mid game.

Dimensional Shifter is a no brainer as most people will scoop especially going second. Droll & Lock is great opening hand if you have a full stun combo board setup but it sucks mid game so thats why its strictly at 1 for me.

The Upstart Goblins and Pot's are there for conistency. Raigeki and HFD are clearly for going second.

Decisive battle and Wall are for protection against destrcution and for opponents that choose to attack. Pay around 4k - 7k and most cant do anything.

Angelica Ring for instant spell negationg and if you pay 500 you have targeting protection for any of our monsters for the ENTIRE DUEL. They cannot Imperm or Effect Veiler anything.

Mind Drain is extra protection for hand traps as well. Skill Drain and Anti are self explanatory as once the board is setup they cannot really out. Have Fun!
