Notes & Combos

New toy syndrome? Never heard of her!

This deck has gas. If you are looking for combo lines, I'm sure that someone in the discord channel would be happy to provide them. My normal endboard is usually Rising Scale, PUNK Xyz, Teleport Fusion set, and a psychic Synchro of choice. If you opp doesn't have handtraps and/or you have sufficient extenders, it's very possible to make another psychic Synchro.

I did most of my climbing before the new pack, so idk how it fares against Dracotail. Thankfully, if you are reading this, it's because such concerns don't bother you.

I think the ED is pretty tight. Amazing Dragon doesn't come up often, but I think it's still worth it for the times they do. If you don't have it, put in a Ty-Phon or something.

I won't pretend that this is the perfect 40 card list. Blaster is so incredible when he can actually extend, but going to three feels icky for the scenarios when he doesn't help. Ogre Dance also feels questionable since the normal summon is crowded real estate.

Here are some tipz and trickz that you might use to edge out some wins:

  • Always try to make PUNK Xyz early for anti-Nib protection
  • DON'T summon procedure off of e-tele. It won't trigger. Ask me how I know
  • Remember you can grab teleport spells from GY with procedure, and anywhere with Sorc. Use this to either delay or skirt around a potential droll.
  • Hushed Psychic Minister is a good board breaking tool, but you can also use it for an extra end board piece. If you have spare material for a Lambda, you can trigger its search effect using minister.
  • If you open Blaster, consider going for an alternate line that loops Omega using Blaster Mk-II.
  • Shenshen is specifically for the Sky Striker Matchup. Fact: all sky striker players telegraph their deck choice because of all their cosmetics.
  • PEP is how you win games. There is a good argument to make it as part of your endboard.
