Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Notes about climb

Decided I wanted to climb with a fusion deck this season and Branded was in a good position so I decided to just send it. Main reason I switched from Math to Branded was because of Vanquish Soul. I just don’t like playing against the deck. It's not broken or anything. I just don’t enjoy both playing or playing against it. Pretty easy climb to m5 so far though.

**Card choices/techs **

  • Deck is more or less standard but ratios are a bit different.

  • Superpoly is the going second tech card, I only run two because I refuse to run three in some matchups it simply does not do anything.

  • I run Branded Banishment its basically a superpoly on legs and of they get your Mirrorjade in grave you can use its banished effect again.

  • Bit heavier on the Bystials because Mathmech is so prevalent.

  • Don’t like fusion deployment it’s decent in some situations but I prefer other cards.

  • Cartesia almost was never relevant in the games I was having maybe because I’m just getting used to piloting the deck but I’ve only ever used her to dodge targeting effects once or twice.

  • No Branded lost because it is simply one to many cards that could potentially do nothing turn one decent card but one I am not the biggest fan of.

  • Do not use thrust or fusion deployment after some testing it feels really bad and thrust is a dead card turn one if they dont activate a monster effect.

Extra Deck

Literally the most standard Branded extra deck only difference is the addition of Brigrand the Glory Dragon it can be sent to grave to special summon or add to hand a Tri-Brigade monster or Fallen of Albaz it was very useful turn three and come up a surprising amount of times

Endnotes

The climb was decently fun so far but kash is a sucky matchup. I will most likely be testing out a build that has branded in high spirits and once the dinomorphia secret pack comes out I will be trying a 60 card Dinomorphia Branded pile abomination.
