Notes & Combos
This should have been a Magical Musketeer deck profile. I started the month playing muskets and REALLY wanted to rank up to master within the first week. Muskets are so fun. I was 1 game away from rank up FIVE TIMES before tilting and hitting a bad RNG patch and deranking to Diamond IV. I took a break from ranked for a couple of weeks before giving this deck a try and HAD A BLAST.
If you get your combo off going first, you win. End of story. Board normally contains Blazar, Sifr, Dispater, and billions of draws, bystials and Fydraulis. When this deck sets up, you drown your opponent in almost as much card advantage and layered disruption as Maliss during its height. The downside is that the combo can be a little jank and fragile. There is a reason this isn't meta. lol
My version is less combo focused than the versions that Mainlander usually favors- I prefer a more mid-range(oh the horror!)/hand trappy/control style. You will win a lot of your games with bystials and Fydraulis and just grinding. My man, Fydraulis is freaking awesome in this deck, by the way. You can search him off of Brotaur AND Magna, so you almost always have him in hand, going first or second. Probably the MVP of the deck, and is definitely a better choice for my preferred playstyle than FNV while having a smaller extra deck commitment.
Juraishin came up once, but he did end the duel when summoned. Chaos Archfiend also only came up once(in the Maliss duel on my profile). You could replace both with more Fydraulis targets- Packbit or wind pegasus both would have been more useful than Malong in some circumstances. Personally, I like big Chunguses. More Dakka = more fun.

I play a bunch of different decks and save WAY too many replays, so only the 2 most recent are from this deck: A going first pseudo FTK combo tutorial against a cracked going second hand from Radiant Typhoon, and a going second grind game showcase against Maliss. The Maliss game was the second to last game before rank up.
