🦋Introduction:

꒰(˶• ᴗ •˶)꒱Hiya, fellow duelists! I've been a bit occupied with different hobbies and transitioning into a new phase of life, so that's why this Master V has been achieved pretty late into the season! Still, Striker never ceases to help me, but I have made some noticeable changes:

🦋Overview/Matchups:
  • Pot of Desires (+): SIGH, I have been reluctantly using this card in this run. This Spell ultimately sacrifices comfortability with draw power. Despite the drawbacks where it realistically resolves only once per Duel, forces you into awkward playstyles by cutting off engine, reduces your grind game, looks hideous, incentivizes you to run additional one-ofs of not-so-ideal cards, may banish crucial utility cards, and yada yada yada... It's good, and you should consider running it... Gag (In seriousness, it "probably" wins you more games than loses)
    • Expanded Radiant Typhoon Engine (X): I think I was the second ever duelist to upload this variant on the website, and it's been an honor to use it! I love this engine, and don't take me relinquishing it as to say it is unplayable; it certainly still holds value! Despite the comfort/consistency/gas it provided as opposed to Desires, my matchups and luck in Ranked simply didn't favor it. It plays into the Mulcharmies (by proxy Maxx "C"), and has a poor going-second success when not into backrow-heavy decks. I think the appeal of the variant still has presence, but the hits from the forbidden list is deterring.
  • Forbidden Crown (+): A brand new toy! This Quick-play effectively flash freezes a Monster into a state of immortal limbo (unless your deck can contact fuse or other niche summoning applications). Its non-target nature coupled with not being able to be responded to by Monsters makes it very threatening. It can also be applied to our Monsters in case we need to survive, which is honestly kind of Striker's game plan, so it all ties together!
  • Ghost Belle and Haunted Mansion (+): The decks I often faced weren't held back enough under Droll and Lock Bird's effect, so I opt'd for a more flexible option in Ghost Belle. She is a decent hand-trap by herself, but more importantly can be used going second frequently.
🦋Conclusion:

꒰(˶• ᴗ •˶)꒱: Overall, not too shabby despite deranking twice! Also, shoutout to my twin Tempest; the Ryan Two to my Ryan Yu (Don't take that seriously lol, I'm not that good). OONGA BOONGA WOOLINGTON (Subscribe to Floowooly)! 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
