I'm glad I pushed to D3 before Ryzeal dropped. The run was somewhat painful. Covering HTs for both Ryzeal and Maliss was the big problem.
For my D1 games: Played 22 games:
9 were Ryzeal (2 wins) 6 were Maliss (3 wins) 2 were Tenpai (2 wins) 5 others (4 wins)
Ryzeal was a tough matchup. I usually distribute them with Droll and another HT, but they still somehow end on 2/3 bodies, which turns into Detonator. That made me realize one Detonator can cook us easily without board breakers.
Problem is, I don’t like board breakers and I don’t have UR dust for them. Because board breakers become less valuable if not synergistic (ex. Crystron with droplet).
Now, for the cards that were MVPs:
Druis into Chaos Angel/Dispater or S:P is great. That’s part of the reason I dropped Impulse, it’s weak against Ryzeal and turns off Lub, which I want this meta. (It seems like there a lot of maliss players appearing in ranks bc no lancea, so I will run impulse when that happens)
Almiraj’s purpose is to unbrick Vision with a Bystial or an extender in hand in hand.
S:P is good against Bagooska and in grind games.
