Notes & Combos
Go birds. I've been playing Harpie Primite Horus the past few months, and did until D3. But Ryzeal checks the Primite engine pretty hard, so switched over to Floo for a change of pace, and finished the climb. The deck can still be strong.
Gordian Slicer is great in this deck, won nearly every time I drew it (though it and Slayer are bricks going first, I lost so many coinflips it rarely ended up that way).
Snowl I believe is worth running right now, as others have done. The book effect is quite good, especially agianst Ryzeal, and Snowl's piercing was often too. Snowl also gives a Cowrie search off of Empen if you need to dodge a target. And most niche of all, Map's opponent NS effect only requires a Floo summon (not a L1 like the turn effect), so in niche situations where your small birds get handtrapped and you have a big bird in hand, if it's a Floo big bird you might not be out just yet.
That said, this month the climb felt pretty miserable, Maliss and Ryzeal, over and over and over. With just one of them around, you could tech with less consequence. Konami really rolled out the red carpet for both of them, with the slight tap on the wrist for Ext, one of the most pushed cards in an era of pushed cards. Not sure how long the Birds can hang in there, but Map being freed would certainly be big.
