Was trying to rank up with Maliss and Ryzeal but with all the hate cards for them it felt using either since I'm unlucky so I went back to my favourite deck Crystrons.
Maliss being less dominant means Lancea is also less used and I never came across one, they also tend to not shotgun it anymore. Millenium engine also can make photon lord before revealing crystron cards to counter it, otherwise, millenium itself lets u set up a decent board without banishing cards.
Droll being more common is also a plus for crystrons as most of the time it never hurts you.
2 Lancea and Meowls to try and counter Maliss, 3 droplets and 3 imperms to help with Ryzeal.
Maliss was harder to go against going 2nd as if you dont open Lancea, Meowls or the roach it was essentially a scoop.
Ryzeal in theory hurts the millenium engine alot but with imperms and droplets it does mitigate them most of the time.
Gameplan is still the same until K9 comes out. If I am Maxx C-ed, tristaros + trap is usually what I try to end with (ideally with hand traps and imperm/droplet set)
If under fuwa, same as under maxx c but i can be more greedy with bodies on the field for more synchro material.
Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon never came up once so it could be changed to a ty-phon or any other card, its only use is if golem is stuck on field to turn into a baronne with one of the crystron tuners. Samurai also didnt come up but its for anti-nib lines so its worth keeping. SP Little Knight also never came up but I can see it being useful against a ryzeal match up to banish their field spell.
The rest of the ED is pretty necessary. I never felt the need of a 2nd dragster since this meta is mainly monsters but dragster keeps u safe from alot of ryzeal hate (evenly, book of moon/eclipse and general boardbreaking spells)
Horus engine is probably a safer bet against Ryzeal but I personally preferred Milleniums to assist in boardbreaking + it minuses you less and doesnt play a brick.
TL;DR Crystron best deck. Millenium engine is still viable if you open the correct cards into a Ryzeal board or a Maliss half board. (u are not breaking a maliss full combo board still)
