Finished the climb to M5 with 75% winrate. Had a 9 win streak that ended by a d/c on the coinflip screen :(. Went on a 6 game losing streak from d2 to d3 in part due to 2 d/c losses—playing during my commute is a problem lol.

Scuffed Soul bka OCG "Tenyi" Swordsoul:

Had a lively discussion in the discord server about the validity of ocg swordsoul builds. I saw the vision; other did not. So I took up my arms and went to battle.

The build is brickier, of course, but not Floowandereeze omg wtf is this shxt level. It felt better than exo sister as well, but not by too much. And if you do brick, it's because you drew all handtraps (bystials, etc.) so you probably will get another turn and maybe win that turn depending on the game state.

We are all brakes, no gas on this side homie.

So why play these ratios?

Easily make a clean 40 card deck which lets you see HTs and anti maxx c stuff.

Your maxx c resolving means a lot more. Same for qixing, moye and desires draws. Chixao blackout pass has never been so potent lol.

Veiler offers excellent synchro versatility, and makes your bystials live even if your opp isnt on light or darks.

You are less likely to have your plays broken up by bystials vecause you wont rely on ashuna so much.

If you get maxx c'd turn 1 you could have like 3-4 live interactions even if you pass on a vanilla longyuan and no token. Not having to go for tenyi lines in general means you play into Maxx C much less.

Easily run bystials to counter tear etc.

The negatives?

Lower ceiling, brickier, less board breaking so you rely on RNG to give you HTs. But thats about it. I rarely lost a game because of bricking. oh also imperm on moye sucks a lot more. but again handtraps :).

ED probably not optimized. Maybe donner or dharc to link off druiswurm, Rank 4 and or Wollow and zeus might be good.

Could run gold sarc as an extender to banish blackout but thats meh (why does tear get every other decks cards banned I want Instant Fusion :( ).

The replays are decent. Its just swordsoul. You know the drilly.
