Notes & Combos
Played that version since Kewl Tune dropped and it has been a breeze ( 8 winstreak when i reached M5). The main character there is retaliating "C", it has pretty much been useful everytime i drew it, both to stop my opponent plays but also to prevent droll, veiler and even Maxx C (They all need to be discarded to GY)
Reta C, like fuwalos, is also a rank 4 so worst case going first, u can normal summon it to go into Duo Drive for a Detonator or Link it off to draw maxx C.
For Deck Size, I play exactly 40 because it want to see my game winning 1 of as much as possible: Shifter, Maxx C, Ext Ryzeal and Habakiris.
For Kewl Tune Matchup :
- With shifter, impulse, reta C and Ash, u can prevent Kewl tune from either synchro-ing or getting any effect to resolve since they need to hit the GY, similar to Dracotail.
- Going first, if you have Detonator + Mitsu Trap, you can prevent them from accessing synchros.
- Going 2nd, they implode if you reta C either synchro overtake/kewl tune synchro or Shifter.
- Kewl Tunes has too much starters so keep impulse/ash for your turn to prevent the quick play spell. They rarely go for RS and Zalen on turn 1 so impulsing the quickplay greatly reduce their interactions.
- The guaranteed value ash on their turn is on rotary hand check but only when it's not chain blocked.
This version also randomly cooks Dracotail, Brillant fusion piles, Lunalight, Branded and many more.
For my Extra, all the cards came up at least once to win me the game but u can cut Exciton, Typhon and Code Igniter if you want to go for Seven Tach with Number 104, Dragluxion and Hope Harbinger.
Warning : Impulse from hand makes Reta "C" a dead card so be mindful when using it. Imo the value of impulse overshadow the risk but u can swap it for Belle/Droll
Campaign Code if u can and want to : 28d084ae
