Notes & Combos

This season, I reached Master 1 again with White Forest Azamina. With the addition of Dominus Sparks and Forbidden Crown, we have some new tools to experiment with in the deck. Since Called by the Grave is no longer available, I replaced it with Crossout Designator and added Droll & Lock Bird, which has been particularly impactful against many Ranked decks this season. Droll also gives us a useful Crossout target. As some of you may already know, I like playing cards that aren't commonly used in White Forest: • Deptors of the Azamina – A Quick-Play Fusion Spell that works similarly to Hallowed, allowing me to play through Fuwalos/Maxx C during the opponent's turn. • Woes of the White Forest – I faced a lot of Droll this season, so having Silvy search Woes as my first search gave me a reliable way to interact during the opponent's turn. • Sinful Spoils of Slumber – Morrian – I prefer Morrian over Sinful Spoils of Betrayal – Silvera. It can recover itself from the GY (although it banishes itself afterward), and Wanted can retrieve it from banishment for another use. Its effect also provides good disruption by flipping a Special Summoned monster face-down, while triggering Moa Regina. • Moa Regina – One of my favorite Azamina Fusions. It can Special Summon an Azamina monster from the GY and destroy up to two cards. With Silvia on the field can make hers 3000 atk allowing for up to 6,000 damage.
