Notes & Combos
Phantom Knights feel absolutely amazing with the new support. The deck has become much stronger going first, and it can still establish a strong board even when your initial plays get interrupted. The new cards give the deck more ways to extend and keep playing through disruption, making it much harder to completely stop. Another thing I really like is how well the deck performs under Droll & Lock Bird compared to before. Overall, the new support makes Phantom Knights feel much more consistent, resilient, and capable of playing through disruption.
I found myself summoning Evilswarm Ophion most of the time, mainly because around 80% of the ladder right now seems to be Elf Note players, as Ophion can completely stop them from playing. Because of that, Exosister Karmael doesn't come up very often and can be replaced with Evilswarm Nightmare instead.
he main weaknesses of this deck are Spells and Traps that can negate or destroy our monsters, while Super Polymerization can also clear our entire board. Maxx "C" and Mulcharmy Fuwalos are also huge threats, since Phantom Knights rely on a lot of Special Summons to establish a strong board.
