Mourner and Ogre are the newest additions to this list in response to Elfnote and Power Patron. The main advantage to playing these cards is they check Regina on your turn before they can Synchro summon and back Regina to hand. Ogre was ok going 2nd but Elfnote players know how play around it by making Strelitzia with Power Patron immediately. Then make Crystal Wing on 5th summon. Since a lot of Elfnote games insulated with Crystal Wing or Baronne, pairing a handtrap became critical. This becomes a wash when they hard open Power Patron, it is one of their best extenders past a handtrap or two. Nibiru was fine, people do not respect but it's no surprise it needs to be paired like other handtraps. The Mourner burn was pretty funny, it came up a few games enough that you could OTK with just Accesscode. Between that and people scooping, I performed Tera + Crystal Heart OTK very few times, let alone needed Multiplication.

Matchup Breakdown in Total (223 Duels; 114 Heads, 109 Tails)

Due to Tenpai/Striker/Mikanko influence: 115 Going 1st, 108 Going 2nd

• 59 Elfnote (26.5%, W/R = 42%)
• 15 Clown Crew (6.7%, W/R = 60%)
• 13 Dracotail (5.8%, W/R = 38%)
• 10 Sky Striker (4.5%, W/R = 30%)

Honorable Mentions: 8 Branded & Invoked & Maliss, 7 Power Patron, 6 Artmage & Fairy Tail & Odion & Phantom Knights

Elfnote was everywhere, which was no surprise. I was unimpressed with pure Power Patron despite all the apocalyptic hype. Tt seems to be a handtrap merchant deck like mine with similar problems. It did not appear to be an efficient Rank 10 engine through handtraps and its halfboard was like S:P + Varudras pass. This matchup was where Nibiru shined, it was like night and day facing Power Patrons vs facing demon Elfnotes.

Dark Magical Curtain is coming and I think that card is deserving of the hype. I might play Witch of the Black Forest as a target, the body is not trivial since it's free, especially if you can force a half-board through paired Nibiru or Charmies.
