Notes & Combos

Man, I really wanted to like this deck but this season was not kind to me. Ninjas at the moment has too many core issues that need to be address but I should talk about the pros of playing this deck first.

Pros:

1. This deck actually has decent matchups with purrely and kashtira. Those decks really need their monsters face up to have effect so jioh and the new karma cannon are ideal to have in the deck.
2. The ability to otk directly means you don't really have to worry about towers on the field. One best example is my opponenet had psychic end punisher on the field and I was able to attack directly for game.

Cons:

1. Although this deck puts up good results with kashtira and purrely. I can't say the same for any other tier deck. This deck just not have variety to deal with those decks. The biggest contenders that this deck struggles with is labrynth and dragon link.
2. With the addition of triple tactic thrust your backrow will be destroyed. Better pray you have solemn to stop whatever they add with thrust. You could add heavenly prison in the deck to help but it will not help against evenly matched.
3. Lack of negates. The only ninja monster to help negate a effect is mitsu which needs a second monster on the field. If it's your first turn you are probably just better making meizen unless you know what you are playing against.
4. Bad hands. YOU WILL draw 3 mitsu or 3 tobari even though the odds of it are low. Or draw your one of jioh a abnormal amount of times. I see decklist play 2 which helps but what's worse than drawing 1 jioh: the answer is 2 jioh.

My rant aside getting to build your field is pretty great and you can see how much monsters you can swarm on the field in my replay. If anyone wants to give this deck a try I wish you the best of luck cause they are aspects of this deck I really like and want to see succeed.
