Notes & Combos

This deck is designed for going first. The new cards add many new ways to interact on the opponent's turn, so going first is more effective than before.

With Engage, you can add Hornet Drones, then use Hornet Drones to summon a token, then summon Kagari, then use Kagari to add Engage from GY to hand, then summon Kaina, then use Engage to add Linkage, then use Linkage to summon Zero, then use Zero to add Engage from deck, then use Engage to add Lemnisgate and draw a card. Then, on the opponent's turn, you can use Zero to summon Raye and Roze and destroy a card, then you can use Lemnisgate to shuffle 3 monsters (Kagari, Zero, and Kaina) and 3 spells (Engage, Linkage, and Hornet Drones) into the deck to return 2 cards on the field to hand, then you can use Raye to summon either Kagari to add back a card from GY then Lemnisgate in GY to summon Zeke and banish a monster, or Amatsu then summon Azalea to destroy a card (but it will send itself to GY if you don't have 4 or more spells in GY).

If you have a way to summon 2 effect monsters, you can summon Camellia and send a spell to GY, then use Kagari to add the spell to hand. For example, with Raye and Roze, you can summon Raye, special summon Roze, summon Camellia, use Camellia to send Engage, summon Kagari and add Engage, use Engage to add Linkage, use Linkage to summon Zero, then use Zero to add Engage, and Engage to add Lemnisgate. This will allow for 2 cards to be returned to the hand with Lemnisgate (by shuffling for example Zero, Kagari, Camellia, Engage, Enage, and Linkage into the deck).

You can also use Lemnisgate to prevent Called by the Grave on Zero by returning Zero to the deck in response to Called by the Grave.

It is usually best to add Engage from GY with Zero if you will have 3 or more spells in GY after adding it so you are more likely to draw Engage, unless you need more Sky Striker spells in GY for Lemnisgate.

Thrust can be used going first to set Black Goat from deck for an additional disruption, whereas going second (if the opponent controls a monster) Thrust can be used to add any normal spell to the hand, such as Engage or Duster.
