Notes & Combos

I tried a lot of versions of this deck, and a lot of decks overall this season, for Nouvelles tho, the dark necromancer version was the most fun for me and surprisingly good. You can not run it but I think FOR SURE keep the fiendsmith stuff. You also need Kyrie to do Rex lines off of just Chef, since chef goes to ED instead of GY so you will be short on materials doing regular FS lines. Rex can send Chef if you want but usually I opted to do A Bao or Topologic Bomber Dragon stuff (can get 2-4 raigekis out of it via FS GY stuff on their turn)

The Vendread stuff CAN be bricky at times but you also gain a super powerful starter that can be special summoned via Gold Sarc and on normal or special, sets up vendread battlelord to be summoned which can turn off your opponent's monster effects, safely playing around hand traps before you combo off with the extra bodies it generates.

The combo is:

• Dark Necromancer > Send Battlelord > Add Ravenous to hand
• Ravenous summon Scar to summon battle lord, scar adds charge
• Charge Tributes Battlord for Revenants, Battlelord sends vendread core to GY to add any ritual to hand (usually burger)
• Core banishes necromancer to summon from GY, necromancer resummomns

From here you have 2 level 4's, a level 1, and a ritual of your choice in hand. You can link the bodies off into moon and go into fiendsmith combo. If you'd prefer to run a second scar instead of revenants, you can go into chaos angel here. There's also vendread anima to go even more plus but I wanted to minimize bricks.

Also you have the option to summon revenants off of the ritual if you want a quick effect banish on battlelord, if you plan on keeping battlelord on field, which is really nice. I did this when playing into Maxx C / Fuwa to keep draws minimal.

Regarding the Nouvelle side: Scale chef and add Poel or Bala is your go to play into maxx. Chef summons on their turn and changes his level if you want to summon bala. If you have something in hand to tribute, you can summon Poel and use his targeting effect to trigger her tributing effect. Also keep in mind vs Ryzeal and Mitsu, changing their level on a quick effect messes them up badly. A changed level on a ryzeal name can brick their whole turn, and you can change Haba's level when they activate ritual to potentially brick ritual since mitsu ritual demands an exact level tribute.

I didn't run concourse because I think the card sucks tbh. Much better in the Dogmatika version.
