Notes & Combos

My goal is to summon Colossus and try to get advantage off the Bystials protecting my life points and triggering my ThunDras.

  • If I draw Solar and I don't get Maxx C'd, I try to summon Elf (through Cross-Sheep) to protect Colossus from targeting.
  • Sometimes I have enough gas to end on I:P and if they summon a Bystial on my turn it's a bit easier.
  • I'm usually ending on Regained over Beast, but when most of my interactions are on the field I prefer Beast as keeping Regained in deck gives a way to recover if i get Evenly Matched.

Bricking?? Idk, what is that? As long my hand isn't 5 ThunDras or Called by, there's no bricking, you just play next turn or the turn after, building boards is overrated.

Season 23

The new pack brought some new decks that shifted the metagame a bit, VS and Mathmech have room for hand traps to be annoying enough vs Purrely. Thanks to those it's much better to play D.D. Crow, as it's very good vs Purrely to prevent plump summon, lets you hit non L&Ds vs mathmech and most importantly it's good vs Lab which is the deck where most of the good techs vs them don't overlap with the other decks, and crow it's still decent against VS.

The only issue is Kashtira, why I still played 2 Veilers, the deck is quite bricky so you will prob lose to them if they make Arise (just like I did), as I've cut outs to it. But it was not very common match up, if it starts bothering you you can increase the amount of Kaijus.

Ignoring Kash and building to beat everything else was actually pretty fun, by just playing engine and hand traps as it's how the deck works best.

Replays

I always share replays in MD, most of the duels are either wierd hands, trick situations or cool interactions. Check my profile (817-429-458) I always try to add new replays.
