White Forest Azamina

Notes & Combos

This month I used several decks: Blue-Eyes, Elfnotes Fiendsmith, Radiant Typhon, and mainly my favorite deck, White Forest Azamina. I played the first two in Diamond and the latter two in Master.

Azamina carries a lot of games whenever Droll & Lock Bird or Maxx "C" resolves. I use Debtors Azamina and Woes of the White Forest specifically for those situations.

I added Forbidden Droplet to the list because it's both a Spell Card (which works as discard fodder for White Forest) and a strong board breaker.

I'm not a huge fan of Rucia, but she still helped as an extender in several games.

Going second, my favorite line is using Filia Diabell whenever I can access it quickly in order to summon Diabellstar Vengeance. It forces out a lot of interactions from the opponent.

Sinful Spoils of the White Forest is an amazing card because it allows you to summon Saint Azamina using Dragoon (after using its effect, or any other Fusion Monster) together with a Synchro Monster summoned through Queen Diabell or Diabellstar Vengeance.

The last replay I saved was my final Master 1 rank-up game, where I played through Dimensional Shifter, Ash Blossom, and Maxx "C" against Vanquish Soul and won with only 500 LP remaining.

One of the replays I saved was simply because, between my turn and my opponent's turn, I summoned 11 different monsters from the Extra Deck. Many of them were summoned during my opponent's turn. The amount of Extra Deck spam was insane.

I hope Konami continues supporting White Forest Azamina in the coming years.

Among my replays, you'll find many different versions of White Forest Azamina from various stages of the deck's development and my own experimentation with the strategy.
