Had some fun this month playing a small Elfnote engine just to make Baronne on Turn 1.
Lucina is a Fire that adds herself back for VS reveals, that also enables some plays on your opponents turn as more interruption.
To be honest, it's not as good as just regular VS/K9 since you sacrifice consistency + turn 2 by cutting the level 5 Fire (RB/Super Quant) and Vallon, etc.
Notes, etc:
- With no other starters, opening with Lucina > opening with Mad Love, since ending on Baronne is much better than ending on Rock + start + pass
- You use Lucina to draw Regina, which sends Lucina to special summon Power Patron. PP effect and then synchro for Baronne, then PP adds another Lucina and Regina adds herself back to hand.
- On enemy turn you can use Regina in hand to send Lucina to grave, special summon Regina to middle zone, Regina effect to SS the last Lucina from deck and then use Lucina to bounce 1 card
- Don't forget to get PP off the field ASAP, as it locks you into Synchro as long as it is face-up.
- Lucina is really good for baiting Ash as well, before going for Hollie/etc and can be used as a Saryuja name or to just make S:P.
