Notes & Combos
Kewltune.... I swear, some ladder players don't deserve Kewltune. Chainblocked full hand info INCLUDING TOP OF DECK as part of your combo and you somehow still manage to lose....
Since pure Mitsurugi is clearly not recovering until more new tech cards appear on the scene, I was on Mitsu-Ryzeal this season because Ext and Detonator completely carry it. Yes, it folds to the level changing on RS and B2B, but I don't have any decks that don't while also having enough gas to shove through the handtrap spam. The other option was going for the Kewltune mirror, but I don't like its playstyle....
I used to be on Droplet, but I feel like it banks on your opponent not knowing what they're doing: not reliable in Master.
I also continued playing Dracotail-Branded this season -- same as my previous list but subtract 1x Urgula for the 3rd Veiler, and subtract 1x Pan for 1x Belle. It didn't have to worry about the level modulation, but also felt less consistent (if I open 5 handtraps my opponent can contest my 1 gas topdeck with 1 handtrap), and since Kewltune mostly disappeared in M2 for some reason, this Mitsu-Ryzeal was the deck that finished my climb. I mostly swapped to Dracotail when I was going 2nd a lot, there was a lot of Kewltune, or to complete dailies (Fusion / Link, activate traps).
