Notes & Combos

I like running over 40 with this deck. You have hella starters with this version so you dont need to worry too much about having plays, and this means you draw your pseudo-bricks less often. I'm on all three of the generally seen as good starter packages, that being Girsu, Cyanos, and Terrortop. I find running them all means you can make lots of pushes into boards with stuff like three engage, but frankly this deck struggles into established boards, hence the 3 droplet.

.

You can play through shifter, even if it gets a little awkward, but given how it totally destroys Kewl Tune, aka the best deck in the room, its worth running. If this were TCG we would side it out going first every time, but this is best of one :)

.

Also please cut last stand. This card sucks to draw and barely does anything under even ideal circumstances. The only utility i could see it having is to be dumped by blade on the opponents turn, but that just is not worth putting ANOTHER soft brick into your deck.

.

The combo is any two machines into valcan booster, grab Funk dock, get stage landing and summon blade with it. Blade dump lambda cannon. Revive lambda cannon with valcan booster to the zone it points to, and rip a card out of opponents hand. Funk dock summon you something new, usually either driller or rocket so you can blow up the monster you summoned and use stage landing in grave to keep your own monster. Link booster and rocker/driller for Brute Blues, get operations test. Operations test revive cannon, use its effect to add back rocket/driller. Summon it, link it away for clockwork knight, send operations test for clockwork night. Link it and cannon for barricadeborg, discard clockwork night. Clockwork night GY effect to search regulus. borg and blade for crook, get the trap. If you had access to an additional body anywhere in there you can use that with the clockwork knight for borg to preserve the lambda blade, but its not strictly necessary. Now you have hand knowledge, an omni, counter trap monster negate, and can weave through your RB main deck interactions. Pretty good stuff.
