Gamma & Nib were MVP. Cycle Reader is weird, but it could trade with Fiendsmith engine and BE pretty well. Banishing two helps deal with Lacrima Crimson Tears (so no Paradise), Sequence, or Agnmuday if they go for the greedy Desirae line. I was on 3 Imperms because I was deathly afraid of Caesar but people did not go for it. Desirae lines were more common. Or Nib/Reader/Gamma did a good job of preventing Caesar. I was also afraid of Lacrima send Paradise through handtraps but opponents going for Desirae took care of this.

Double Laplacian is the compromise for having a lot of gas and breaking boards.

• Vs Branded, it is rare for them to handtrap you so its valuable to rip 1 card - the discards add up if they have to use Super Poly, Branded Opening, or Albaz, or Bystials + they are a combo deck so denying them a card could make or break their hand.
• Going 2nd, Laplacian is a heavy investment but 3 non-target removal insulated by Diameter opens up a lot of these layered endboards - forces out backrow, handtraps before committing to Transcode is huge. It was common enough to go 2nd, be unable to OTK but still win out because Laplacian breaking their board into Accesscode/Terahertz + set Superfactorial with a 2nd Laplacian is a lot for the opponent to play through.

Double Linguriboh is from the last two seasons. I'm happy a tech that was developed for going first (beating Impulse) just never came up. Instead, being able to insulate your link climb from Imperm, Majesty was super helpful. Linguriboh came up way more going 2nd than I could have imagined.

No hard data because I trolled and did a late climb. Saw blue eyes, fiendsmith piles (bystial), sky striker tenpai, and branded. I think the deck did pretty well, I just get FOMO from not being able to play Fiendsmith cards. Maybe there's a way lol
