Notes & Combos
THE REASON FOR THE DECK:
Hey guys, so, i decided to build this deck since most people kept telling me that Live Twins Runick Spright was not consistent enough for Master Duel, and whilst the deck could use with better runick cards (Konami Unban them please), it did well enough to get me to master 1 once i got the gest of it.
RATIO OF CARDS:
The current Ratios are the best i can recomend since you are only realistically doing your spright combo on your first turn, therefore you only ever need one Spright starter spell (it didnt come up in need), and to ensure you have the minimum of non engine to compete.
LIVE TWIN COMBO:
To start your usual combo you need a twin and either a runick or a spright monster, that you can then turn into gigantic and go from there, this gives you acess to fountain (if using a runick card), a draw, and an end board consisting of both Evil twins, ip, and elf, with carrot or red (and sometimes both) in graveyard for next turn
Start of next turn you can ip the Lil-la into Gryphon lock in the middle of your normal monster field, bring back carrot or red for negates, and be able to bring back Lil-la for a pop. Any negate tribute from carrot or red should be made with Ki-Skill so you can draw 1 when bringing it back with Lil-La
THE RUNICK CARDS:
Besides the incredibly consistent TWIN/SPRIGHT engine, you got the powerfull runick cards, these in my opinion, should not be seen as your win condition or playmakers, and instead you should see them as constant disruption and deck harassment to your oponent, whilst doing an incredible job at recycling your cards.
Usual Hand:
Your best "common" hand should be two runick cards and a twin, this gives you acess to full combo and recycling with fountain.
The other very common draw is a runick (or even no runicks), a twin and a spright, in this case, the deck still works like a live twin spright deck and is incredibly good at disrupting your oponent and locking them with Gryphon, so you should not worry.
No twins?
This is honestly the worst case scenario, you can still combo but it wont be as strong, because of how much the twins bring into the deck. If one of the twins gets negated you can usually bring the other one out with gigantic.
Staples:
Lastly, i strongly belive the staples i have put in the deck are the best you can use in this format but as usual, it goes to each players liking, i have experimented a lot with this deck and this led me to most of my sucess. GGS Bros
