Notes & Combos

Back to ol' faithful. Really easy master climb with this, did it in a single night.

Let's talk about the new stuff and the stuff I didn't really use:

Bot Herder - It's situational but your main combo can force it (assuming you get to combo) so it's not usually a totally dead card and it will instantly win you the game if it resolves vs most decks (except Dracotail because that deck doesn't care about anything lol). In the games I used bot herder, I'd say it won 3 out of 4 of them. You don't have to run it but this is probably THE BEST deck for it, so if you like it, def try it out. (maybe a rank 8 kaiju deck could make better use of it since you can go into Zombie vampire with the stolen stuff but that deck is overall lower power level).

Slump - Honestly, didn't use it at all this season, definitely cuttable. I took it out for a few games and got maxx c'ed with thrust and got annoyed and put it back in. Def comes up, just didn't come up this time.

Zexal - He's cool but I don't feel like he's the deciding factor that often. You could probably just run Masq or another link 1 but like I said with bot herder, you CAN run it and it's cool so **** it, throw em in. If I did take him out, I would probably cut snatchy to 1 and run masq + fancy ballz. Underworld goddess would be nice too, I feel like this deck prints bodies so she could come up. Almiraj is also an option to link off hand traps.

Metal Marcher vs Samsara - Metal Marcher is easier to use, Samsara lets you recycle herald. I was just trying marcher out this season. I've never had to recycle herald but I'm sure it comes up sometimes. Marcher making comboing a little easier is nice though.

1x Archfiend - Sometimes I wanted a second archfiend. In the grind game you can run out of mimighoul names for maker, and if you get archfiend off of maker, you end up not getting to discard, so running a second one can be nice. Downside being it's not a starter on it's own though. Pick which upside you prefer.

No nib - Cut it. Useless this season. Good players play around it, ripper rips it, dracotail doesn't care (what's new), I guess it hits RT a little but they care more about their back row late in their combo than their monsters. Not much maliss running around these days so I don't think it's as good.

I still think this is the best and most consistent yummy variant while also covering some of the go second weakness. Plus mimighouls are cool, don't write it off!
