R.I.P Mitsurugi Prayers
After a smooth DC this month, I decided to grind to M1 after all, which was also decently smooth aside from some nasty coinflip lose streaks. Thankfully never de-ranked.
So uhm, Prayers to 1 starting April, huh? I think that's the sign that I'm done with my small MD spree until they unhit it in a year or two - at least with how I want to play this deck, I feel like it's a consistency AND ceiling hit that I do not want to stomach. But who knows, maybe I'll go back on my word and keep playing. Cyberse Contract Witch is a guaranteed, brickless searcher, after all.
Deck Talk
- Noroi at 3 turned out to be fine.
- Primal is still my brick of choice, never felt like it was the deciding factor on if my hand was a losing one or not.
- Forced Release is cuttable, but I quite like it.
- FYI for any aspiring MK9 players, all the cuttable cards are; Kusanagi, Aramasa, Futsu, Purification, Forced Release and Primal - it all depends on how dedicated you are to the theme and to going all-in on combo ceiling. Non-engine as you see fit.
