Notes & Combos

For this season, I decided to try out Branded again and see how I could do with it. Though I switched between this deck and Mathmech, it was very fun to learn the new lines for Branded and get rewarded as I continued to play the deck.

I followed a list from April with a few slight modifications. The second Kitt was a great add to help mitigate the Opening hit. In the Extra deck, I opted for a Starving Venom Dragon over a Mudragon as a banishment and Superpoly target. Overall, super poly did not come up as much as I expected it to, which was why I only ran 2 of it. Besides that, the extra deck is pretty standard. I had originally started with Proskenion over Quaeritis as my Granguignol target, but Proskenion was only really impactful in the mirror. Quaeritis was helpful against OTK decks and decks like Mathmech to avoid dying to an Accesscode or 8K terahertz. The Albaz summon effect also came up ocassionaly.
