Pop-ation NOT Negation

My fun take on the Killer Tunes! Turn 0 always and forever!

In your standard list you'll see Clip cut to 1 and basically will fill the edges with powerful spells like Desires/Called By and negation handtraps in Veiler/Imperm

...however I have decided to lean FULL into the play on your opponent's turn aspect of KT because that has always been the most fun aspect for me

Don't get me wrong, it's not a blind second deck like you may see with the all-hand trap deck, this still goes first. Your basic turn 1 KT is generally plenty to stop the opponent!

Main Deck:

• 3x of all searchers, KTS, and 1 field spell/overtake: No surprises here
• 2x Duelist Genesis: Very weak into droll and hate drawing in multiples but very good and flexible consistency card
• 3x Clip: Because we are leaning into the turn 0 plays, we NEED this bad girl in our hand to get much started
• 3x Hop Ear: In all transparency will occasionally brick you, but is a 2 you can use with Mix and when combined with Clip or Izuna unlocks some plays your opponent absolutely is not prepared for
• Izuna/Lupus: The K9 handtrap package, nothing else. Can get you Baronne turn 0 with hop ear/clip, Black Rose turn 0 with Hop Ear or just insulate your stuff turn 1 after you get ashed by making a ripper (or some cute comboing with Riser dragon turn 1)
• 3x Fuwa/1x Purrulia: In order to consistently see your turn 0 plays you're gonna need to be drawing cards. Purrulia is only okay and isn't very good turn 1 so didn't want to go above just 1
• Rest of the handtraps are pretty self-explanatory imo

Extra Deck:

• Most of the numbers here are pretty standard for the in archtype stuff
• A bit tight and I never felt like I needed MORE than 1 Remix
• 2 Loudness wars is niche but occasionally does come up for full board destruction/targeting protection
• Black Rose you make off a k9 + level 2 tuner as a last ditch board wipe
• Ty-phon is low key goated, in a grind game you often find that it's like 1 monster vs a big RS and Zalen or something like that, and Ty-Phon just clears both and leaves them top decking

Overall I thought it was a very fun season, although I did get annoyed by the amount of Go First turbo decks I saw in Odion, Elfnote and Orcust (decks that basically insta scoop when YOU win the flip)
