Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

My Tenpai Deck for this season:

My climb was delayed due to the graduation exam I had a this week. One day after the exam, I make some changes to this deck and had a 76% winrate (From Master V)

Overall analysis of this month metagame:

This month metagame has a rise in the number of Crystron Duelists as many people were amazed at how the No.1 in the WCQ's decklist and many other successful players are Crystron. The matchup against Crystrons while using this deck is quite doable, the only annoying thing is that they can summon a battle protection monster for free. The other match-ups I faced was Snake-Eyes, Blue-Eyes, Fiendsmith, White Forest, Mermail, Memento and Tenpai.

Tenpai Sky Striker is a blind-second deck that ultilize cracking boardbreakers like Duster, Droplet, Ultimate Slayer,... to destroy the opponent's endboard. Deck like Snake-Eye often ends on Apo, I:P, Desirae and Promethean, which is really fragile to Droplet + Decent board breaker. Blue-Eyes is a tough match up since they can build up 10+ disruption, I have lost to a BE player once during my climb and his board was Jet, 2 Spirit, Called by, Majesty trap, 1 Veiler, 1 Ash and 1 Drillbeam. White Forest has the same problem, their hidden hand traps are always this deck greatest weakness. The 3 most annoying decks that I had to face was Memento (With their 92% VFD), Mermail (With their handrip for 4 each turn) and the Mirror match (I don't understand why they open Duster every single time they go second).

Explaining for my techcards

Chicken Games: Turn the deck into a 34 cards deck, make the deck more susceptible to Droll, but the satisfaction of drawing a card is just simple too good to pass for me

Sale's Ban: Great card against Branded (Stop their Albaz), against Blue Eye(Drillbeam and Spirit), Decent option against other deck. Called by the Grave isn't that strong to me in this meta

Infernoid's Evil: Add "Into the Void" to your hand when sent to the graveyard

Change of Heart: Stealing Apo 4 mats is fun, also we can turn their monster into either Knightmare Phoenix or Liggard Hazadose( Draw 1)
