- Branded - Protos again, ash branded fusion, chi xiao negates aluber, if they try to use your chi xiao with fallen of albaz try to remove chi xiao with blackout or tributing him with heavenly.
- Floowandereeze - Negate their normal summon with chi xiao, banish the map with qi xing, cheng ying gonna have a giant attack in this matchup, ecclesia can summon your mo ye and taias in defense to play around empen, protos is not effective in this matchup unless you wanna call wind and destroy their wole board going 2nd.
- Runick Variants - Vishuda to bounce fountain so you can combo safely and if you going second and he is playing stall try to hold vishuda if they have a lot of set cards and use vishuda on the floodgate they activate and hope they don't have more floodgates COPIUM.
- In general Baxia is good in all the matchups he is basically your boardbreaker going 2nd in swordsoul don't forget that.
