Notes & Combos
Managed to hit top rank this time not with P.U.N.K. but with Exosister. Any experience for me in playing any sort of strategy that invoved the GY was a death wish so I went with Exosisters.
As you can see I have no Maxx C, up until a point it wasnt worth it as I was running into tons of Floo and honestly its not even that fantastic against Tear so I removed it entirely. That deck also consisted of 3x D.D Crow and to be fair it got me far but it was definately hitting a wall into the Floo matchups which is already very hard for Exosister.
The real secret sauce that I kept all the way in is Ultimate Slayer with a full package for it in my ED. Came up clutch into a lot of random games where I played from 2nd accompanied by 3x Evenly and 3x DRNM gives me no problem at all breaking apart boards and establishing my own. I do not like Dimension Shifter with Ultimate Slayer as it conflicts with the card (So does Maxx C) but you can definately have success with Shifter lists for sure but its not my preference.
I also valued a full package of the traps especially Vadis, If I do get hit by Maxx C myself I at least want to see Vadis in my hand so I can put up threats in the opponents turn and timing the use of Vadis well is hugely important. This is also why i'm on 2x Irene so my Vadis is likely still live on later turns. I have also at times cut 2 Returnia and Tactics for 3x D.D Crow which goes extremely well with the Vadis'. Being able to force a Martha on field and then have a Crow to let her transform has also been clutch so do take note of that it did work very well also.
Lastly just make sure you're on 2x Ultislayer Fusion targets. It's by far a super frequent thing to see with all the Branded and Tear around and Bucephalis (The Link) can dump Garura for free for a draw 1. You still want to have an Ulti Slayer for fusions in case of this hence why theres aslo an N'tss. Ulti Slayer is also no once per turn so you can actually use all of the ones in your hand if you got targets.
