Notes & Combos
This format is absolutely cursed; High Elo is plagued by Maliss and everyone is running Lancea so it is not even fun to play Maliss at the moment. I played a little bit of Kashtira as well since Unicorn annihilates Maliss, yet then again, if everyone is running Lancea (or even Chaos Hunter...) it is NOT a fun experience for Kash at all.
Eventually I opted for some good ol' Tenpai this time. TLDR: had a very easy and comfortable climb with it; it destroys Maliss and pretty much everything else.
Notes:
- WARNING: If you're FTP or have a very recent account, I would NOT recommend spending on this Deck; you probably won't be able to finish it even with 10k Gems, and you'll be way better off waiting for Ryzeal anyway. Even though Tenpai has been very strong every season since release, it is otherworldly expensive; almost every single card in my Main Deck is UR (Used to be worse before Maliss arrived when the 3 Lancea were 2 Thrust and 1 Imperm...)
- Maxxing out on the Charmys is mandatory IMO. I see a lot of Tenpai players not playing Purulia which is ridiculous since you're always going 2nd and you want to draw your Boardbreakers/Handtraps/Engine. Purulia is perfect for that. Also very decent against Maliss although they can play around it with a good hand.
- Don't run 2 Fadra, card is bricky and you don't want to draw it. The follow up almost never comes up. Don't run Dora Dora either; card is unnecessary. I would advise to Maxx out on Genroku instead.
- It is mandatory to run 2 Lightning, Harpie's and HS. %90+ of the times you lose is due to backrow.
- Talent & Thrust are naturally also mandatory since this is an ALWAYS-going-2nd Deck. Crazy how many Tenpai builds I see without 1 or the other.
- Rest is very self-explanatory and standard.
