Notes about the climb

Climbed from M3 to M1 with this list a few days ago. Sometimes you brick but it is what it is. One of the biggest advantages of this deck is that people have no clue how to play into your boards you put up.

Possible interaction

Mikanko

The two traps + I:P into S:P

• Promise to summon Ni-Ni attach a card with spirit walk > Ni-Ni Steal a card to link off to summon S:P

Bystials

• Basic Bystial interaction and you can banish Ohime from grave if you have her in hand since she will be pitching herself to grave

Branded

• If you normal summon Albur to get to Mirrorjade and open Arabesque you can use Arabesque to bounce Lubellion once summoned to use its in hand effect

• The special summon floodgate via Jowgen is also good for the early grind game and Yubel cannot out it at all

Non-Engine

All the non engine pieces in this deck are there mostly due to the existence of Maxx C and because I like to run one tactic in most of my 40 card lists. I also do not run ash because ash does jack against anything other than Branded but even they can still play through it.

Extra deck

The standard branded package alongside the Runick stuff and the SP/IP package there is an argument to run another SP over one of the branded ED cards but it never came up in practice.

Endnotes

It was an interesting climb this season. Maybe it was because I climbed later during the season but I saw a lot less Snake Eyes and alot more Yubel.
