Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

I began the season with Branded Bystial. Then I encountered a Level 3 Fire Zombie-type Tuner Monster with 0 ATK and 1800 DEF that can be discarded from your hand to negate effects that send a card from the deck to the GY, special summmon from the deck, or add a card from the deck to the hand.

So yeah I switched over to Spright, and decided to use the Mannequin Cat variant instead of Melffy Spright because I found the Melffy engine to be lacking sometimes, specifically situations where the I don't want effects to be resolving in the GY at all. Introducing Mr. Anubis, a walking 2500 ATK floodgate!

But as you might have noticed, there are other lovely floodgates in this deck as well, such as Sir Goliath and Ms. Chaos Hunter. Goliath is particularly damaging to decks that use a lot of Earths(Adamancipators), or if I'm able to grab a pesky Maxx "C" from the GY via Mannequin Cat(doesn't work after resolving Spright Starter or Gigantic obviously). Chaos Hunter is a bit more niche, but she can help against those annoying birds should they drop Shifter during my turn, which basically stops their resource loop if they didn't draw Infinite Impermanence. D.D. Crow is also a Target for her!

Regarding the Climb itself, it was about what I expected. I had a much more difficult time in Diamond than I did in Master, I ranked down twice in Diamond but that never happened in Master. A lot Spright mirror matches in Master rank too, but I am seriously tired of all of those 60 card decks running around. But that's all I have to say, catch y'all next season with Labrynth and Kashtira on the horizon!

I admittedly don't have many replays up since most games ended the way you expect(Maxx "C" being dropped, Full Spright board annihilates the other guy's attempts at playing the game). The Diamond 5 game was when I was still playing Branded.
