Notes & Combos

Forgot to track my W/L this season, last 20 games I went 14-6.

Also going to talk about the DC here, where I went 73W-45L, lost the coin toss 60 times, 2 of those times being forced first, and won it 58 times, so I went first 60 times, and second 58 times, and I ended at 32000.

Gorgon is the new addition this season, I mainly used it going second to break boards and to make it easy to OTK through a bunch of monsters, I liked its addition to the deck greatly.

I ended up playing 3 Ash this season, I started playing 2 in the DC for Dracotail and Maxx C, but I've ended up just playing 3, even with Yummy in the format, against pure, it's not bad, cutting off Surprise is just nice.

I cut down to 2 Thrust because during the DC I wanted a little more consistency, I'm playing an extra Lamia in its place, this gives the deck 22 starters, making it a 94.52% chance to open a 1 card combo, in comparison to 93.46% with 21. As well I just want to have more ways to a level 8 reptile, as not only is Habakiri of course good to open, but more ways to find Wousu makes it easier to out Herald and Caesar, which are everywhere this format.

I started to play 2 Ritual to play a 3rd Ash, it's kinda the only card to cut down at this point, as I don't want to cut starters and the one ofs, and Daybreak is equally as good to open.

I've been considering putting Dyna Mondo back in, but it doesn't feel like there is anything to reasonably cut, I was thinking about taking out Unicorn but Retailiating "C" is pretty popular right now, it may just be Dharc, which I'm really not sure about doing.

The Deck remains feeling good, though I've misplayed more than I'd like. Excited to try this deck in the NA Challenger Cups (If I can get in one).
