Notes & Combos

Hello, we meet again, it's been a while hasn't it. Things are not exactly the best but hopefully we all can be. So i managed to finish the season, again. I really was considering full retirement but i guess i don't have any other time waster to play even when i don't want to play it, weird i know. So here i am, with a new deck this time.

My memory of the climb was blurry due to how much i don't like it but i guess it can be called smooth as i don't experience any major demotion or lose streak iirc. As for this deck, it's good, it's consistent and works well enough, it reminds me of my primite stun list even though it's quite different. This list was modified using Neiroy's list as the base as i find the idea of using 1 man intriguing(at the time of me searching for a list) and to my surprise, it does work. My only gripe with this deck as usual, the going second is abysmal, even with super poly. Which brings me to the topic of me feeling like this deck can be optimized more. After seeing other lists on the site, i feel like i can replace some handtraps and add more spoly targets, maybe ditching spoly altogether or maybe more ED options. For handtraps, i feel like retaliating c is kinda hit or miss most of the time, but it has its moment, ash and maxx c works as usual, shifter is there because 2 turn immediate banish is better than waiting for my opponent to play a spell that special summon. I can maybe try to add back purge or veiler, belle and nibiru might be good as well. For super poly options, maybe i should add more options instead of 2 garura and mudragon, only downside is that extrav has higher chance to banish what i might need later. For extra deck options, the 2 ty-phon have their moment, but most of the time it's unused. So i might consider adding dugares and redoer back as i often find myself with multiple level 4s unused and kinda of a waste/useless to go into rabbit or s:p. Level 12 synchros can be a nice tech too. I forget i can do that with serket+labradorite, for the specific variant that reminds me of that, you can refer to Joey's list.

If you want to learn the deck, my good friend RIP always have a replay of his seasonal climb. And this time he plays odion so you can learn about it from there, even though his deck is slightly different in ratio and tech.

And i think that's all i can say for now, i might try to finish another season again later but i won't count on it too much, this game is really something, in an abysmal way. Anyway, thank you for reading this rambling, really, and have a nice day.
