I played Meowls just to get additional draws vs Yummy and FS, but its mostly there to be paired. At a certain point it feels like there's not enough good handtraps to play even with room for 18 handtraps. A cute interaction is Small World banish Maxx "C" for Circular because its EARTH, but that's not the difference maker.

I'm still on the fence on 2 A.I. Meet You, but I can say the lock doesn't come up too much. It's main purpose isn't really to be a starter, though it can be - therefore you spend a lot more games holding it until your opponent interactions with you. After playing a 8 starters, you get to a point where you can open multiple starters than singular starters. Pairing starters is my goal, and pairing a starter with Backup or Wizard is strong. The only difference is Droll when you need to see a Wizard, but I'll take that risk.

I want to fit Link Spider and I'll think about cutting Terahertz, Desavewurm, or Almiraj.

Matchup Breakdown in Total (166 Duels; 87 Heads, 79 Tails)

Due to Tenpai/Striker/Mikanko influence: 93 1st, 73 2nd

  • 34 Dracotail (20.5%, W/R = 47%)
  • 26 Yummy (15.7%, W/R = 46%)
  • 12 Odion (7.2%, W/R = 50%)

Honorable Mentions: 8 Maliss & Orcust, 7 Blue-Eyes & Mitsurugi

This climb was mainly DTail and Yummy. Odion was a thorn in my side but that deck can't really beat a wide board without Super Poly and a Man in ATK w/ Temple up is easy game with Terahertz attacking twice into it. I think I should have focused my non-engine to beat DTail, probably could have leaned into Retaliating "C" and Red Reboot. Yummy feels manageable with non-engine but it is highly dependent on Meowls/Fuwalos/Maxx paired. Snatchy + Surprise can still threaten Cooky Way, so I feel cards like A.I. Connect feel more important in that matchup. DTail is definitely one of the more unwinnable matchups, the layering of Flame and Horn is enough to solo most hands even if you happen to Draw Belle/Ash to trade with one of them. Red Reboot makes it more manageable.
