Notable Changes From Season 47

Build is a lot different than Season 47. I'll revisit AI Connect another time. This month, I had the opportunity to teach a friend mathmech on stream and was inspired to play a build similar to the one they played. Here's the link if you are interested!

The main deck isn't that much different besides playing less DARKs for AI Connect. I was able to play 18 handtraps instead. The main endboard this goes for is Terahertz send Desavewurm, Allied, Superfactorial and 2 Heatsoul draws. Allied is summoned underneath Terahertz so that I only summon Heatsoul with its effect. This leaves 3 open zones for Superfactorial. I do not revive Transcode unless I get sent going 1st after losing the flip in case of Striker. This deck is still able to win just fine with this endboard, so I'll keep that in mind if I consider V-Link or Cynet Conflict endboards.

Veiler was maxed out in response to Red Reboot in the format but didn't encounter Reboot that often. I could play Enigmaster Packbit but Tera often sends a 3rd name + Desavewurm. I think Almiraj is a good inclusion because it improves solo Backup (Backup + handtraps) hands, among others. I generally avoid normal summon Backup because every interaction on it forces you to pass. Having the extra Almiraj gives you two cyberse bodies to work with for a link 5 backed up by the handtraps you already have.

Honorable Mentions: 11 Blue-Eyes, 11 Dracotail

This climb felt pretty straightforward. Just add Dracotail to the Maliss, Ryzeal, Mitsu fiesta. Non-engine wise I would definitely consider Red Reboot. This overlaps with Dracotail traps which I think is the hardest part to deal with in that deck - especially strong when paired with Veiler/Imperm on Arthalion. I'll see if Yummy changes anything, but I feel like the counter strat will default to Nibiru + answer to Herald and push through any leftovers.
